Jodie Underhill has raised thousands
of pounds for various charities and works hard to raise awareness
about the situation in Tibet.
Jodie has a support group called Love 4 Tibet
which has raised much needed funds for various Tibetan projects
including the Tibetan Children's Village in India where they sponsor
Tibetan children. We'd like to increase it much more... |

|
The TCV provides cares and education for over 16,000
destitute children many of them Tibetan refugees living in exile.
Jodie is going to India in December and
will be spending two months of her trip volunteering at the TCV making
much needed improvements to their Child Sponsorship Programme. Jodie
needs your support and your cash to help pay for her food,
accommodation and flight to the north from the south of India. Please join her group
here on Facebook
to show your support and wish her well and if you can spare a few quid
to help make her dream come true please do.

News update:
Jodie's friends had a car boot sale on 9th
November and raised a good sum, and there are more fund raisers
happening soon with all sorts of fun events... BUT folks (this
is the unbiased Ed. speaking) I'm asking you to give more (please)
than they can make in one hard-working fund-raiser.
Please think about it.... and give BIG.
For those of you who can afford it,
how about £100, £500, £1,000, £10,000?
Here is our point: The last donation we
raised for another cause was $150,000. This is not a boast, our point
is that we
don't put our name and reputation behind something unless it is
very worthwhile. We'd love to see you help Jodie to make a
very real impact! It's not for her, it's for the children (and in
case you are wondering, we don't take one penny!). |
This has to be one of the most worthwhile and
compassionate projects that I've seen in a long time.
Looks like Jimmy Savile thought so too from your pics
- not without reason! I am so happy to give you a reference and to
urge everyone to take part in supporting your extremely courageous
efforts - not just for your sake but for that of thousands
of Tibetan children who will be forever grateful. Their
circumstances are bleak but just a little help could make a very big
difference. I'm asking folks to please give now and
not to let the moment pass. "

Please note this site has been created
independently by supporters of Jodie Underhill and her project for Tibetan
Children. We have her consent to do so but the strong pleas are entirely
ours. In other words, we urge you to support her but she would be too
modest to do so :o) So please do! |
